The Tausala & Manaia Project is the premier cultural leadership initiative of Fetu o Siva — created to mentor and empower the next generation of Polynesian leaders through culture, service, artistry, and identity.

Rooted in the values of the Fa‘aSamoa and Tongan traditions, this initiative moves beyond conventional appearance-based pageantry. Instead, it focuses on character development, cultural knowledge, artistic excellence, leadership, and community impact.

Through mentorship, cultural education, and service, young men and women are encouraged to embrace their roles as modern guardians of Polynesian heritage — carrying forward the stories, disciplines, and values of our ancestors with pride and purpose.

The Miss Fetu o Siva title is a distinguished cultural honor inspired by the legacy and prestige of Miss Samoa. It serves as a platform for young women to embody the beauty of leadership through humility, service, knowledge, and mastery of the Siva Samoa.

More than a title, Miss Fetu o Siva represents the living spirit of Polynesian womanhood — honoring the strength, grace, and cultural responsibility passed down through generations.

Inspired by the transformative reign of Moemoana Safa‘atoa Schwenke, this platform recognizes individuals who serve as cultural ambassadors dedicated to preserving the storytelling, discipline, and artistry of our ancestors for future generations.

Lemina Wyzayla Sufia Muasau

Fetu o Siva proudly honors the remarkable journey of Lemina Wyzayla Sufia Muasau — founding member, student, leader, and cultural advocate.

Born and raised in Kalihi, Hawai‘i, Lemina carries a deep passion for Polynesian culture and dance. For her, dance is more than performance; it is a sacred form of storytelling, preservation, and connection to identity.

Now serving as Secretary and Las Vegas Chapter Ta‘ita‘i for the academy, Lemina continues to inspire through both leadership and service. As an active member of the EFKS Church of Las Vegas, she works closely with the local Samoan community to create spaces that uplift, educate, and celebrate Polynesian heritage.

Her journey from Honolulu to Las Vegas reflects resilience, humility, and unwavering dedication to cultural empowerment. Through her reign as Miss Fetu o Siva, Lemina continues to inspire young dancers and future leaders to embrace their identity, honor tradition, and lead with purpose.

Mister Fetu o Siva

Celebrating Polynesian Excellence, Character, and Leadership

The Mister Fetu o Siva title is a groundbreaking cultural honor created to redefine the image of Pacific leadership.

Founded on the belief that true leadership is measured by character rather than appearance, this platform celebrates the values of the Taule‘ale‘a Samoa — service, humility, strength, discipline, and cultural pride.

Faia'oga Ta'ita'i Malaki established Mister Fetu o Siva to create an inclusive space where young Polynesian men are empowered to lead with confidence, integrity, and love for their culture regardless of physical standards or stereotypes.

This title stands as a testament that the strength of a leader is found not in outward appearance, but in heart, service, and commitment to community.

Fetu o Siva proudly recognizes Tauaiga Christian Ali‘ioaiga Vargas-Tuilagi Jr — owner of TuiCorps and the inaugural Mister Fetu o Siva.

Born in American Samoa to the late Army Officer Tauaiga Saumolia Tuilagi and retired Navy Sailor Maria Tuilagi, Tauaiga’s upbringing reflects resilience, discipline, and global experience. His military family background allowed him to live across Germany, South Korea, Guam, and the US, shaping both his worldview and his commitment to community.

Raised within the EFKAS Church, Tauaiga carries strong spiritual and cultural values rooted in service and leadership. Proudly representing his hometown of San Diego, California — “Daygo” — he continues to uplift the Polynesian community through mentorship, partnerships, and cultural advocacy.

As the inaugural Mister Fetu o Siva, Tauaiga represents a new generation of Polynesian leadership grounded in authenticity, humility, and service.

Selection Process

The Miss & Mister Fetu o Siva titles are selected by the Administration of the Academy through a thoughtful and intentional process centered on leadership, service, cultural involvement, and commitment to the organization.

Interested members are invited to express their desire to serve as representatives of the academy. Candidates are then carefully evaluated based on their contributions, character, cultural knowledge, and ability to uphold the values and mission of Fetu o Siva.
